Distribution Delivery Driver

The Distribution Delivery Driver will report to the Warehouse manager on a day-to-day basis and in turn the Head of Distribution.

As the sole Delivery Driver for Williaam Cox plastics division, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe loading and transport of goods from Monday to Friday to customers nationwide and in a timely manner as per delivery dockets and agreements between Williaam Cox and its customers.

• Collections of products from warehouse and distribution to customers with care and precision
• Ensure that all correct administration documents in relation to transport and receipt of goods is accurate and filed
• Maintain excellent care of goods during transport
• Report any issues with products or travel to the Manager promptly
• Maintain good customer rapport
• Deliver items in a timely manner as per agreed case with the customer
• Ensure to obey and adhere to all RSA regulations/ Road traffic laws
• Ensure high health and safety precautions whilst in your position in all areas
• Liaise with the Warehouse Manager and in turn the Supervisor on a day-to-day basis

• Experience with delivering goods at least 3 years
• Understanding of warehouse distribution
• Organisational skills
• Good communication skills
• Manual Handling
• Full Type C driving licence
• Driver qualified card and CPC Compliance is required
• At least 3 years of verifiable driving experience
• Tachograph card holder
