Casement Ventilators

williaam-cox-brakel-ventria

The Williaam Cox Brakel Ventria provides natural ventilation for both smoke and hot air. Thanks to its attractive external design the Williaam Cox Brakel Ventria is often integrated into glazed facades and glazed roofs for air feed and air extraction. It is available in both a thermally insulated and standard insulated/uninsulated design and is suitable for all types of glass up to a thickness of 40mm.

williaam-cox-brakel-lumera

The Williaam Cox Brakel Lumera is a high-quality architectural ventilation window with slim profiles and controls that are hidden in the frame. The Lumera was especially designed for structural glass roofs with a small incline. It is a vent light that can be mounted at an angle of 0-90º. The opening angle of the window in relation to the base is variable up to a maximum of 90º. As a result, the Lumera is suitable for both day-to-day ventilation and fire ventilation. It consists of cold bridge-free aluminium profiles ensuring that a high insulation value is attained. It is designed with an eye for detail and is therefore suited for use in buildings with very stringent aesthetic requirements. Examples of this are the concealed controls and the glass fixing, which are not visible from the outside. If required, the Lumera can be anodised or powder-coated in any RAL colour. The Williaam Cox Mark 3 range is also available as an access hatch.

williaam-cox-brakel-inova

The Williaam Cox Brakel Inova is a natural ventilation window that is suitable for day-to-day and fire ventilation. The Inova, with its slim profile, is an aesthetic, high-grade vent light for façade applications. The controls for the frame have been completely embedded in the structure. The Inova can be supplied untreated, anodised or powder-coated in any RAL colour required. The following designs can be supplied in the vent light: single-walled aluminium, double-walled aluminium insulated, laminated glass, insulated glass and double-walled polycarbonate.

Flap Ventilators

williaam-cox-brakel-duo-therma

The Williaam Cox Brakel Duo Therma is a double flap ventilator for natural and fire ventilation. This ventilator is especially suitable for buildings with high standards of airtightness, thermal and acoustic insulation, and areas with high relative humidity. Thanks to its complete thermal separation and high standard of insulation, the formation of condensation can be practically precluded. The variety of versions and possible low overall height make the Duo Therma very suitable for industrial buildings, offices, shopping centres and atria.

williaam-cox-brakel-fumetica

Williaam Cox Brakel Fumetica is an EN 12101-2 certified double flap system suitable for exhausting smoke and heat, daily ventilation and also acts as a skylight. Due to its large dimensions, up to 7.5 m² geometrical surface area, the Fumetica is extremely suitable for effectively venting large quantities of (polluted) hot air and smoke. The Fumetica provides a functional solution in which reliability, price and guaranteed performance are united. You can fully rely on the Fumetica for a healthy and fire safe interior climate.

williaam-cox-solus

A dual function smoke ventilator for smoke and natural ventilation and an access hatch unit. The 24v DC operating mechanism can be off set to facilitate access through the unit.

The lid is available with insulated aluminium, glazed or polycarbonate infill panel options. Installation can be directly onto a builder’s upstand or onto a flat deck roof with roof finishes to be applied externally. Standard mill finish aluminium to external surfaces with white polyester powder coat finish internally; RAL colours can be specified.

This unit is tested and certified to EN12101-2.

Louvred & Natural Ventilators

williaam-cox-brakel-optima

The Williaam Cox Brakel Optima is the most energy-efficient louvred ventilator for both smoke and heat exhaustion and ventilation. The Optima offers an optimum contribution to the fire safety, comfort and energy management of a property and is perfect for use in sustainable buildings. In contrast to other louvred ventilators, the Optima is completely thermally separated. Not only the louvres, but also the base gutter construction is thermally insulated, thereby combining the advantages of a louvred ventilator and the unique performance of a double flap ventilator. The Optima delivers a remarkable performance, it is extremely airtight and with a pressure of 600 Pa, the system more than meets the requirements for Class 4 in accordance under EN 12207. The air leakage at 50 Pa is 0.21m3/hour/m2 is unparalleled. The Optima also performs well in other areas; the louvred ventilator achieves high insulation values from 1.0 W/(m2·K), depending on the type and version. Water tightness testing up to 1050 Pa in accordance with EN 12208 – comparable to hurricane-strength speeds of 144 km/hour – is a clear indication that this louvred ventilator has the best air and water tightness on the market.

williaam-cox-brakel-eura

The Williaam Cox Brakel Eura is the most cost competitive installation solution for both smoke and day-to-day ventilation. The Eura extracts large volumes of smoke, utilizing the buoyancy of hot gases in the rising plume. Natural day-to-day ventilation is driven by pressure differences to move fresh air through the building. Pressure differences are caused by wind or the buoyancy effect created by temperature differences commonly known as the “stack effect”.

The Eura is a very versatile ventilator that can be installed at any angle from horizontal through to 90° vertical, making the product widely used in a variety of building types, typically large commercial application, industrial and commercial buildings.

The Eura is available with various Louvre types including glass, insulated aluminium, clear and opaque polycarbonate. It can be operated either electrically or pneumatically with base options for fixing onto roof sheeting, upstand or vertically into brickwork, glazing or wall cladding.

The Williaam Cox Brakel Eura Excellent

The Williaam Cox Brakel Eura Excellent, with its strongly improved insulation value, is based on the Williaam Cox Brakel Eura louvred ventilator which has already been applied for decades. This ongoing development is done in the context of enhancing the thermal insulation values. Using new materials and techniques helps achieve a U-value improvement of up to 56%. The Eura Excellent is perfectly capable of extracting large amounts of air and heat in a short time and is suitable for both air supply (facade) and air extraction (facade and roof). The impact resistant, EN 12101-2 certified Eura Excellent can be supplied in two base versions with various high-insulating Louvre types.

The Williaam Cox Brakel Estra Louvre system

The Williaam Cox Brakel Estra is a Louvre system which is fitted vertically and is suitable for both daily ventilation and smoke and heat extraction. The Estra’s aesthetic and sleek design means that it really comes into its own in projects featuring substantial amounts of glass. The Estra has thermally separated profile sections and is available with either single or double glazing. The choice of louvres available includes point-fixed, circumferentially framed and (semi-)structural glazing.

The Williaam Cox Brakel Eura-R is the ideal solution when there is a requirement for permanent ventilation during all-weather types within industrial buildings and carparks. This is a variation of the standard Williaam Cox Brakel Eura with the addition of side dampers. The Eura-R extracts large volumes of smoke, utilizing the buoyancy of hot gases in the rising plume.

natural-ventilation

Natural ventilation regulates a building’s indoor climate by exploiting the natural forces created by temperature differences between the interior and exterior environment, thermal displacement within the building and winds around the building. The air is kept fresh by controlling air replacement, typically by using windows in the building’s facade and/or roof. Ventilation is achieved by automatically opening and closing windows depending on conditions inside and outside the building and the need for fresh air. Because natural forces are free, natural ventilation is extremely energy-efficient compared to traditional ventilation solutions and this means that natural ventilation systems are both environmentally-friendly and very economical to run.

Williaam Cox Ltd. offer a wide range of both Standard and Intelligent Controls in both low and standard voltage capacities.
