We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of façade and glazing projects.

As a Contracts Manager, you will be a senior site leader with overall responsibility for the delivery of the project. You will be an organised individual who successfully manages projects to completion, on time and on budget whilst maintaining communication channels both internally and externally. The key elements of this role are to coordinate all aspects of the contract and to ensure that the project meets client expectations.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Overall responsibility for project performance on behalf of Williaam Cox Limited
  • Manage the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects
  • Lead the project team(s) and ensure that all work is completed on schedule, to project specifications and in budget
  • Manage the relationship with key internal stakeholders including; design, procurement, manufacturing and your site team
  • Manage the relationship with key external stakeholders including; clients, main contractors, architects, consultants and sub-contractors
  • Liaise with all key project stakeholders to deliver all aspects of assigned project(s)
  • Have a deep understanding of the design details and interfaces where applicable to your project
  • Prepare and manage project programmes to ensure the timely and cost-efficient flow of information resulting in the on-time delivery of the project(s)
  • Develop and implement costs and budget plans for the project(s), ensuring that budgets are known at the outset of the contract
  • Commercial management of projects including cash flow management & overall project financial results
  • Ensure that Site Safety statements and specific risk analyses are produced, updated as required and communicated to all relevant parties
  • Ensure that safe methods of work are employed by all personnel employed by the company
  • Utilise and maintain filing systems for all required Health & Safety Documentation for contracts in your control
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
  • Prepare and deliver progress reports as required
  • Ensure a prompt project close-out and the delivery of key documentation etc.
  • Ensure that diaries and contract related correspondence are kept and filed throughout the duration of the contract, and that these are collated and archived as appropriate following the completion of the contract
  • All other duties associated with the role

Key Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Experience and knowledge of Curtain Walling and Architectural Glazing technologies is a distinct advantage to this role
  • Ability to review details generated on AutoCAD
  • Excellent ability to communicate openly and effectively at all levels (verbal and written)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial awareness and acumen
  • Leadership experience of managing high performing teams
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Project would be advantageous
  • Full, clean driving licence
